Token budget

A token budget is a spending ceiling you decide before a session - set in money first, then converted into tokens so the limit still means something once the site stops showing currency. It is a personal discipline rather than a platform feature.

Where you see it

Nothing prompts you to set one. The moments it matters are the purchase page, where package sizes are the only figures on screen, and the top-up prompt that interrupts a room when the balance runs out.

Why it matters

Some platforms offer deposit or spend limits in account settings, and where they exist they are worth turning on. Where they do not, the only real controls are the size of the package you buy and the payment method you use - so the ceiling has to be decided before the room does the deciding for you.
