Tip goal

A tip goal is a token target a performer sets for a public room, funded collectively by whoever is watching, with something stated to happen once the total is reached. A progress bar shows how close the room is and updates as other viewers tip.

Where you see it

It sits at the top of a free room or in the room topic line, normally written as tokens raised against tokens needed, and it is often the first thing on screen before any paid interaction starts.

Why it matters

A goal is a shared pot: your tokens go in whether or not the target is ever reached, and they are not returned if it is not. Treat a tip as payment for taking part in the room rather than a purchase of a specific outcome, and be aware that a nearly full bar is designed to pull the last contributions out of the room.
